Born in France to an American mother and French father, Marine de Vachon grew up mostly in her native country aside from a brief interlude in Denver, Colo.

There she discovered her passion for ballet and eventually went on to become a professional dancer.

While following an Arts curriculum at the Conservatoire de Marius Petipa in Paris, she was given the opportunity to perform in Jerome Savary's Cenerentola at the Paris Opera and got her first taste of set work appearing in L'Allée du Roi directed by Nina Companez.

Marine furthered her training at the Conservatoire National et Régional de Nice, before attending North Carolina School of the Arts and graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Ballet Performance.

She danced with Ballet Long Island, Columbia City Ballet and Charleston Ballet Theatre before moving out to Los Angeles to pursue both her dance and modeling careers.

Since making L.A. her home in 2011, Marine has been blessed with the opportunity to appear in national and international commercials, print campaigns, and music videos—which eventually led her to book lead roles in award-winning short film Mel and Juliet … among other projects.

After retiring from the stage, Marine decided to focus more on acting and currently trains at the Archibald Studio.

With a keen taste for artsy, indie films, Marine says she was immediately drawn to The Truffaut Affair for its originality, along with its witty and cultured humor.

When not in movies or watching them, Marine loves to be in the kitchen baking—she actually has a diploma in Baking and Pastry—or on the back of a horse, as she used to steeple-chase Shetland ponies as a child.
