Meet The Truffaut Affair's main mademoiselle: Alexandra Barton

The Truffaut Affair producers and director are proud to announce the addition of actress Alexandra Papoulias Barton to their cast.

Barton will play leading lady Jeanne—a sassy, mysterious young woman who suffers no fools—in the upcoming French noir adventure film.

Born and raised in Northern California, with a Greek and German background, Barton started performing at a young age in musical theater and international gymnastics competitions.

At 18, she moved to Paris to obtain a history degree at the Sorbonne while pursuing acting in French and German.

A fluent speaker of English, German, French, and Greek, Barton is also a filmmaker, having written, directed, and acted in the short film Paris is Just a Big Dirty City.
